BMS World Mission

Angus, Helen, Caleb (14), Charis (11) and Esther (8) are BMS (www.bmsworldmission.org) mission workers in Kathmandu, Nepal. They have lived there since July 2012 and work to bring the life in all its fullness, that Jesus promises, to the people of Nepal. Through health, education and sharing the light that He gives with their friends and neighbours.

Angus is qualified in the UK are a Chartered Surveyor. He currently works at a Christian International mission School, Kathmandu International Study Centre (www.kisc.edu.np). He is Deputy Director and manages the non-academic side of the school. He has recently overseen the construction of a new school campus and the relocation to a site 7km south of the old site. There is more work to do to develop the facilities and he will also continue with fundraising for the extra projects. He is also working with KISC’s teacher training programme, KISC EQUIP, to a establish teacher training college. The plan is to establish small centres in rural areas to provide high quality training for Nepali teachers.

Helen is a UK qualified GP. She currently is involved in teaching medical students and trainee GP Doctors at Patan Academy of Health Sciences (www.pahs.edu.np) She has recently completed a Masters Dissertation in Medical Education and is undertaking research in the medical field in Nepal.

  • Please continue to pray for KISC fundraising and ongoing development on the site. 
  • Pray for our ongoing adoption journey, that God’s will be done. 
  • Pray that we would be the aroma of Christ wherever we go and however we serve.
